Lupai is a web application designed to help migrants in Germany access reliable information about legal and labor-related processes. Its responses are backed by verified sources or, when needed, it refers users to relevant institutions, organizations, or professionals.
My role focused on wireframing the platform, designing clear and scalable navigation, and addressing accessibility across languages and user contexts.
Design Goals
The product is based on real user stories, including migrants with expiring visas, limited German skills, or difficulties accessing legal advice. The app also supports professionals such as advisors and lawyers in quickly accessing accurate information. Creating the personas, we understood that the web-app primarily needed:
1) Making complex bureaucratic information feel simple and accessible.
2) Supporting multiple languages and literacy levels.
3) Offering both general answers and personalized recommendations.
4) Ensuring user privacy and transparency about data use.
